If you're German, you have to avoid being the ugly German tourist, if you're Chinese, the ugly Chinese tourist, and if you're American...yet get the idea. Many of us, do, it is true, stick out, in which case I usually head in the opposite direction. So much for my patriotism, at least the cultural variety.

If you're German, you have to avoid being the ugly German tourist, if you're Chinese, the ugly Chinese tourist, and if you're American...yet get the idea. Many of us, do, it is true, stick out, in which case I usually head in the opposite direction. So much for my patriotism, at least the cultural variety.
